Itinerary

On this tour, we will see, and sometimes stand, in places where important Biblical people stood long ago. These places include:

  • A city gate proven to be from Abraham’s time and located in Dan where he rescued Lot. Both Abraham and Lot likely walked through that gate.
  • Tel Jericho; the first city in the Promised Land conquered by Joshua and the Israelites.
  • The palace of the Canaanite King Jabin of Hazor that was burned when Joshua and his army invaded. You will see evidence of the burn and stand at the entrance of the palace, as Joshua would have done.
  • The stream where Gideon ordered his army to drink, then divided them.
  • Ein Gedi, a place where David and Saul traveled, and certain millennial kingdom prophesies will be fulfilled.
  • A fortified outpost dating back to King David. When this discovery was published, it upset the professionals who say there is no evidence that David or Solomon even existed.
  • The royal city of Megiddo which Solomon built up and Jeroboam and Ahab later owned as kings. There, you will walk through Solomon’s gate, walk up the tel, and look out on the vast Valley of Armageddon.
  • The tunnel King Hezekiah had workers dig to be sure Jerusalem would have water during a siege he feared might come. Water from the Gihon Spring still runs through the tunnel. (That spring is also where Solomon was anointed to be king.)
  • The slopes of Mt. Carmel where Elijah prayed, and God sent fire from heaven to consume his offering.
  • A synagogue in Galilee that was carefully preserved in the first century and uncovered in the twenty-first century. Jesus went through “all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues” so He would have taught at this one.
  • The "steep place" where demons caused about two thousand pigs to rush into the sea and drown after Jesus told them to go.
  • The City of David, Temple Mount, and Western Wall

These are only some of the sites we plan to visit. We didn’t even mention the Herodium, Temple Zero, Siloam Pool or the many traditional sites (such as the Mount of Beatitudes, Gethsemane, the Tomb, and the Mount of Olives).

This truly is an extraordinary opportunity to learn and grow closer to the Lord.
